WCAG 2.1 Level AA1. Our Commitment
Limestone Horizons is committed to making its website accessible to as wide a range of visitors as possible, including people using assistive technology, keyboard-only navigation, or browsers with custom display settings. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
2. Conformance Target
Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This covers a broad set of requirements around perceivability, keyboard operability, understandability, and robustness. We do not claim full conformance, but we treat it as the standard we aim for and actively work toward.
3. Measures We Have Taken
- Semantic HTML — We use landmark elements (
header, main, footer, nav), heading hierarchy, and descriptivearia-labelattributes to help screen readers present the page logically. - Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields, FAQ accordion items, and cookie preference toggles — are reachable and operable using only a keyboard.
- Colour contrast — Text colours have been chosen to meet the minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio against their backgrounds, in line with WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 1.4.3.
- Reduced-motion support — Where motion is used, it respects the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query. All content is visible without animation. - Descriptive alt text — Images carry alternative text that describes their content or function. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes or hidden from assistive technology.
- Labelled form controls — Every form field has a visible label associated with it using
<label for>. Required fields are indicated both visually and in the label text. - Focus indicators — Focused elements have a visible focus outline that meets contrast requirements.
4. Known Limitations
We are a small team and access to specialist accessibility auditing is limited. Some areas where we know the experience may not be fully smooth:
- The embedded Google Maps iframe does not offer a fully accessible experience for screen reader users. We display a text address alongside the map as an alternative.
- User-generated content (testimonials) relies on self-reported names and locations. We cannot independently verify every aspect of that content's accessibility.
We are working to address these areas over time.
5. Feedback and Reporting
If you encounter a barrier or have difficulty accessing any part of this site, we want to know. Please contact us:
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone: +66 89 305 7142
- Post: 27 Maharat Road, Pak Nam, Mueang, Krabi 81000, Thailand
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days and to address substantive issues within a reasonable timeframe.
